# Info: Exit BUILDERS

Leave the program and unlock your SYMM

To exit, **contact the SYMMIO team, by** [creating a ticket on the official Discord.](https://discord.gg/invite/symmio) The team will assist you with burning your Builders NFT and starting the unlocking process.

Please contact the team before attempting to burn your NFT yourself.

> **Fee rebates end immediately:** As soon as your Builders NFT is burned, your frontend returns to the fee and rebate terms of its applicable category without a Builders NFT. NFT-related benefits do not continue during the cliff or vesting period.

#### Current unlocking schedule

| Stage                                   | What happens                                                             |
| --------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **NFT is burned**                       | NFT-related fee rebates end immediately, and the six-month cliff begins. |
| **First 6 months: cliff**               | No SYMM vests during this period.                                        |
| **Following 12 months: linear vesting** | SYMM vests continuously on a per-block basis over 12 months.             |
| **End of the schedule**                 | The full committed amount has vested.                                    |

Under the current settings, the full unlocking schedule takes **approximately 18 months from the time your NFT is burned**.

**The cliff begins when you burn your NFT—not when you create it.** Time spent holding your Builders NFT does not count toward the cliff.

Vesting is gradual throughout the 12-month vesting period rather than a single release at the end. When arranging your exit, ask the team to confirm the applicable schedule and the procedure for receiving your vested SYMM.

#### Future changes to unlocking settings

Depending on market behavior, the team may increase or decrease the cliff and vesting durations in the future.

The current settings are a **six-month cliff** and **12 months of linear vesting**. Confirm the applicable terms with the team before starting the unlocking process.
